CBD Jelly Beans are the latest must-have edible from the world of CBD, delivering a quick fix of the non-psychoactive compound in a small bundle. But what are CBD Jelly Beans? How much CBD do CBD Jelly Beans contain? And who makes CBD Jelly Beans? Let’s find out.
Created by Jelly Belly founder David Klein, CBD Jelly Beans are near-identical to the world-famous candy in all aspects, save one: They’re infused with a small amount of CBD. To be more specific, each bean contains 10mg of CBD — the same dosage found in one drop of CBD Oil.
Released under a new brand called Spectrum Confections, Klein’s CBD Jelly Beans are available in a vile containing more than 30 flavours, seven of which are sugar-free and can be purchased as part of a separate set. The CBD used derives from Hemp and has no more than 0.3% THC.
As a result, CBD Jelly Beans will not get you high. That’s because the THC count (the psychoactive component of Cannabis) is too low to have a mind-altering affect on the human brain. For that reason, they won’t show up on a basic drug test and they’re legal to travel with.
While research is still underway, CBD is believed to have a number of health benefits — with the latest scientific evidence supporting claims that it’s beneficial for alleviating pain associated with diseases like rheumatoid arthritis; reducing anxiety; and reducing blood pressure.
